No Longer Bound is a faith-based organization for men struggling with addiction. NLB Thrift Stores directly funds our mission to rescue addicts, regenerate men and reconcile families.
The Processing Associate assists in the daily operations of the NLB Thrift Store, including receiving donations, customer assistance, sorting and pricing donations, and furniture moving.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist with moving and pricing furniture.
-Assist with moving recycling items.
-Greet and thank customers.
-Assist customers with questions.
-Hang, price, and organize clothing.
-Sort and price donated merchandise.
-Cleaning (sweeping, dusting, etc.).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Must possess good organizational and communication skills.
-Must possess excellent customer service skills.
-Must be punctual and reliable.
-Ability to work as an effective team member.
-Many tasks involve standing or walking around the store, and some moderate lifting ( >40 lbs).
-Must be able to occasionally assist in picking up furniture donations (should be able to lift at least 75 pounds).

Purpose Statement: The Culinary Food Driver is responsible for picking up food donations from partner agencies, sorting donated food for use by culinary industry and for redistribution of excess food stuffs to partnered individuals and agencies. This employee works 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, Monday – Saturday.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
-Handles all food donations
-Sorts, weighs and stores all donated food stuffs
-Picks up all donated food items from partnered agencies
-Maintains records of donated food items and discarded food items.
-Inputs monthly food inventory data into GMFB and ACFB database.
-Ensures that the program follows policies and procedures and meets federal and state requirements
-Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations
-Education: High School Diploma or GED
-Experience: 1-2 years in food service industry
-Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work standing or walking for a full work day, and be capable of performing outside duties under all weather conditions occasionally
-Driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle under corporate insurance
The Culinary Food Driver must have confidentiality and privacy regarding all matters involving the residents and potential residents. He/she must be skilled in time and goal management, oral and written communication, along with being adaptable and flexible. He/she must be experienced in conflict resolution, and able to work in a fast paced, dynamic and changing environment. He/she must be service oriented and able to comply with the organization’s Code of Conduct, all regulatory and contractual requirements, organizational policies, procedures, and internal controls.

At No Longer Bound, we are passionate about giving excellent care to our residents in an environment that is safe, welcoming, and compassionate. For a full year, No Longer Bound provides 24/7 residential care for men seeking help for their drug or alcohol addiction. The Licensed Counselor is responsible for providing evidenced-based, research supported individual, group, and family therapy to residents in the residential treatment program of NLB. The Licensed Counselor is responsible for documentation of services provided consistent with state and licensing standards. The Licensed Counselor reports to the Clinical Director and is a key part of the treatment staff from intake to discharge. The ideal candidate is a licensed professional who is driven by a desire to see lives changed, and who is excited about the intersection of ministry and clinical service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
*Providing therapy to a caseload of 15 to 20 residents in the NLB residential treatment program.
-Provides at least 1 hour of direct 1:1 therapy to each assigned resident
-Provides family/marital therapy to assigned residents when it is part of the treatment plan
-Develops and implements a treatment plan for each assigned resident to address core issues not addressed within the general program structure
-Participates in the development and execution of a relapse prevention plan for each assigned resident within the first thirty days of treatment and modifies the plan as needed throughout the course of treatment.
-Participates in the development and execution of a discharge plan for each assigned resident within the first thirty days of treatment and modifies the plan as needed throughout the course of treatment
-Documents all therapy services within 24 hours of service delivery
-Collaboration and coordination of treatment for assigned residents with team members, including counselors, teachers, nursing, industry leaders, and clinical administrators
-Reports any significant change or event with assigned residents to the Clinical Director in a timely manner
-Communicates with community-based providers for residents in conjunction with Clinical Director
*Provides psycho-education to residents and family members
-Teaches specific content related to neurobiology of addiction, physical and psychological adaptation, impact of addiction on development and maturation, family systems, and acquisition of functional skills
-Teaches coping and adaptation skills and emotional regulation skills
-Teaches constructs and skills based on resident and family needs congruent with program values and mission
*Provides evidenced-based and/or research-based treatments to residents and teaches these treatments to the clinical team as directed by the Clinical Director
-Demonstrates evidence of current knowledge and treatments for addiction and psychopathology
-Provides group therapy and process groups consistent with accepted treatments and standards and models competency in group therapy
-Offers teaching and clinical insights to treatment team members based on scientific and spiritual contributions to the field of addiction when addressing clinical issues.
*Maintains all licensing and credentialing requirements
-Maintains license requirements related to continuing education, ethical standards, and practices.
-Maintains current certifications in CPI and CPR/First Aid
-Maintains professional boundaries with residents, NLB staff, and community members
-Must be passionate about seeing lives changed through NLB’s program
-Minimum Education: Completion of a clinically accredited Master’s degree or above in counseling, psychology, or addictions
-Appropriate Experience: 3 or more years in counseling field
-Minimum License: LAPC or LAMFT with no more than 2-years remaining for LPC or LMFT
-Addictions classwork or experience in addiction treatment
-Knowledgeable and competent in addiction neurobiology, underlying factors of addiction, and treatment modalities for addiction.
