Frequently Asked Questions

What types of addictions do you treat?

Alcoholism, Opioid, Heroin, Fentanyl, Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, or other chemical-based addictions.

Do you accept insurance?
Not at this time. Because insurance companies make length-of-stay decisions as well as other treatment decisions, in not accepting insurance, No Longer Bound is not restricted by third party treatment decisions. The cost of our year long program is supplemented by revenue from our social enterprises (NLB Thrift and No Longer Bound Cars) and donations from the community who supports us. This allows us to keep our intake fees low.
What if I don’t have the money to pay?

During the initial phone conversation, we will discuss your financial situation to determine a means of funding treatment. Men pay admission fees in different ways — some with the help of family or friends. We understand it’s common for people in addiction to have financial challenges. Scholarships are sometimes available to assist applicants with their admission fee.

Do residents have to stay for the entire 12 months?

Yes. Time is the most critical element of No Longer Bound’s program. Our long-term program gives men the opportunity to physically and mentally heal, build relationships, practice recovery in a safe place, and learn skills to succeed in the workplace after program completion.

How is Christianity a part of your program?

We do not associate with one specific denomination. The Christian faith is woven throughout No Longer Bound’s program curriculum. Most assignments have some exploration of faith. Once a week residents attend “house church” for faith-based discussions, readings, meditation and prayer. Men attend church on Sundays.

Is No Longer Bound a THOR-approved center?

No, we are not a transitional housing program. We are a long-term residential recovery and treatment program.

Can friends and family visit during a resident’s stay? How will we talk?

After the first 30 days, men can call their families. Approved family visits begin after 60 days. After 90 days, residents earn off-campus passes and weekend home visits, based on care-team approval.
